Of course I can't ignore the attention the name: FCUK gets; well, FCUK is a -rather young- fashion brand in the UK and is obviously playing a game with missing vowels and rearranging letters to get just the effect that most people have when reading it. "WHAT is that called?!" To satisfy my needs, I resprayed several times, all over and on my clothes. And it still became nothing. I admit, my nose could've adapted to it. But I definitely didn't smell much of it. More of a soft skin scent really. very nice. Powder, some white flowers, sandal wood. Light and feminine. Casual wear. On the fresh side. I had it years ago. Now I bought it again. I love my Chanels, I love my Guerlains, but not everybody loves them. Although perfumes are not expensive and exclusive, but it develops nicely on the skin and has good longevity. FCUK is actually quite a decent brand, and I even have a couple of their tees a jeans. I am not the least surprised they followed with fragrances.

Only downside for me is the bottle.. i like my bottles more girly and not as clean and angular as this one. But hey.. if the scent works..The sillage is, however, weak. Though it is moderate for one hour, it becomes weaker as time passes. The cedar and sandalwood accords are incredibly strong, further complimented by zesty bergamot and syrupy, resinous amber. When you smell this fragrance you can almost taste it, it is that intense. This perfume brings to my mind the image of a pretty woman, impecably dressed, working in her office. It is a lovely, clean and feminine floral fragrance. I think this is a great addition to any perfume collection. It's good, cheap and perfect for everyday/office wear, when you want to smell simple and clean but still very feminine. I was at a perfume store in the mall, just browsing for my next potential target... when I saw it, to my Immaturity's delight [oh common, how many of you read the brand name wrong :] sorry sorry, this is serious business...] Another nondescript, sweetish fruity-floral, but a reasonably nice and inoffensive one. It starts out with peaches and generic flowers, with a light dose of something that’s a little softer than the standard drugstore woody-musky base, although similar. I know fruit isn’t listed in the notes, but I smell it.I guess you could say that the scent is a little outrageous and daring, somewhat suited to those girls that enjoy the attention, the ones that like to stand out in a crowd. Actually I'd recommend FCUK Connect for Her for clubbing, it suits that crowded and intense atmosphere well. Kind of smells like drugstore hair conditioner... not in a bad way, but just to really hammer home the idea that this is a pleasant but generic scent. On my skin it opens with a messy cedar-bergamot-musk-lily of the valley combo. Messy in the sense that it smelled poorly blended, which is a shame because I think this had a great potential, especially with the sweet lotus peeking through a little bit later on. But then, there comes the amber bomb! Very warm and quite bitter. It mixes with the artificial-smelling cedar and a tiny hint of sweet jasmine. And that's about it for me. After 3 hours there is just a hint of bitter amber which seems to scratch my nose with it's artificial feel. I tried this in store because it was right next to FCUK friction and initially I didn't like it one bit. However, the dry down is beautiful. It smells really good a little like bright crystal but not as sweet and lighter. Laundry detergent, but wearable. It’s almost like Noa, Oxygene, Sparkling White Diamonds, Brilliant White Diamonds and Glow got mixed up in a big pot. If you like fresh and clean laundry scents that lean towards powdered detergent then this might be a good option, as it’s cheap and not quite as harsh or powdery as some other perfumes with this vibe (looking at you Brilliant White Diamonds!) but it has that almost fizzy vibe that laundry powder has - thanks to the Violet and lime combo I suspect.
